After
the best part of 13 years and goodness knows how
many gigs all over the UK, The Rockin' Armadillos
are no more...
The
Rockin' Armadillos played the first of many hundreds,
not thousands of gigs, opening for The Fabulous
Thunderbirds at the Juke Joint Club in Basildon,
Essex, on August 24, 1995.
Since
then it is fair to say that we have had the time
of our lives. We have been to some astonishing
places, met some wonderful people and forged some
brilliant, lasting friendships, both with fellow
musicians and with those who have come to see
and hear us play.
Now
we have more or less come to terms with the band's
demise, the individual band members are busy regrouping
and working out what we want to do next,,, Some
of us will be back out there playing again fairly
soon.
For
the time being, this website will serve as a basic
contact and information point for anyone who wants
to find out about the band and what we are up
to, so please keep checking back.
